Veterans Day Bravery, courage, patriotism, and sacrifice. These are the reasons we acknowledge our veterans. A veteran is a man or a women who concord served, and continue serving everyday. We truly owe everything to our veterans. They risk their lives to bid for our country; they risk never getting to see their families again. In the Korean war in that location were 5,720,000 men and women rubbish worldwide. My uncle Harlen happened to be one of them. He was 23 years white-haired when he got a letter in the mail saying, Your friends and neighbors drop selected you which meant he was existence drafted to the Korean war. He served from January 1951 to December 1953. He state the worst part of the war was just being there and being on the front line.

Harlen had to go to assemble Riley, Kansas for 8 weeks of formulation whence to San Antonio for 6 weeks of medical training hence he got to go home for 10 geezerhood then he went overseas and landed in lacquer and went to Inshan Korea. He was overseas for 18 months. To me I feel my uncle is a hero. why is he a hero though? He is a hero because even though he genuinely didnt want to g o to war he did it because he knew it was the right thing to do. So, why is veterans day so serious?
